Williams is a small town approximately 160 kilometres south east of Perth. Agriculture is the major industry in the area which comprises of a mixed farming community. Williams is a friendly and welcoming wheatbelt town with a shire population of around 1000 people.

A diverse range of sports and recreational activities flourish in this supportive town. There is an active art and craft group as well as a repertory (theatre) group. The popular Williams Expo showcases local produce including olive oil and viticulture products.
