Pingelly is a small town with a population of around 1500 people, located
approximately 158 kilometres south-east of Perth. Several heritage trails,
as well as sporting and recreational activities are available within the town.
Educational facilities include a District High School accommodating students
from kindergarten to Year 10, TAFE and Telecentre. As with most wheatbelt
communities the major industry is agriculture.
