Spirit of the Wheatbelt

  Moora

Moora is situated in the Central Midlands, 180 kilometres north of Perth and one hour drive from the coastal town of Jurien Bay which is famous for its fishing and rock lobster industry. Agriculture is the major industry in the area. Significant mining and tourism ventures also operate within this area.

Two primary schools, a senior high school and a technical and further education centre operate in the town.

Moora hosts a wide range of active sporting clubs including golf, bowls, tennis, netball, pony club, hockey, football, cricket, swimming and squash. A fine arts gallery and an arts and crafts society also provide a diverse selection of activities.
