Merredin is situated 260 kilometres east from Perth on the Great Eastern Highway
in the Central Wheatbelt. The town is a major site between Kalgoorlie and Perth
and is the hub for the Eastern region of the Wheatbelt Health Region. Merredin
is accessible by car, train, bus or light plane.
Merredin offers a diverse range of educational and recreational opportunities

4300 people in an area of over 3300 square kilometres. The climate and landscape
changes dramatically between seasons from the cool and lush in winter to
