Jurien Bay is situated on the coastline of Western Australia, 260 kilometres
north of Perth, and is the largest town in the Shire of Dandaragan. Due to its
location, the town's industry is based on aquaculture and other marine
industries. The town is also a popular holiday location because of its ocean
frontage and wide array of marine animals. Community activities include golf and
watersports such as boating, swimming and fishing. An annual windsurfing
competition also attracts interest from a wide range of competitors.
