Goomalling is situated 130 kilometres north east of Perth and has a population of
approximately 930 people. The area is a large producer of cereal crops, sheep, beef and
wool, with the majority of the labour force employed in agriculture and
supporting industries. The town has a number of primary schools, a swimming pool
and large sportsgrounds providing activities including netball, football and
hockey.
