Dumbleyung is situated 270 kilometres south east of Perth.
The town became part of history in 1964, when the world water speed record
was set on Lake Dumbleyung by Donald Campbell. The lake itself is the largest
naturally occurring inland body of water in Western Australia.
Dumbleyung is a proactive town with several sporting clubs, a school, hotel and
shopping facilities.
