Dowerin is situated 160 kilometres north east of Perth. Crop and livestock farming are the main industries of the town, with an increase in tourism during the wildflower season and the annual Dowerin Field Days. The town is less than 20 minutes away from Goomalling, and as such has most health care services provided by Goomalling District Hospital. Community nursing is available in Dowerin through Silver Chain, who can also provide first aid, child health and immunisation. |
