Corrigin is centrally located within the Wheatbelt Health Region and is
235 kilometres south east of Perth. Cereal crops and sheep farming provide the
main industry of the area, with a wide variety of wildflowers which provide
a feast of colour during spring and one of many tourist attractions. The town
provides a variety of community sport and recreation activities including
swimming, tennis, golf and bowls. A district high school catering to year 10
and a telecentre are also available.
Corrigin Health Service
A multi-purpose service comprising of a hospital, hostel as well as home and
community care services (HACC) provide health care to the towns of Corrigin
and the surrounding district.
